Salisbury MAG's 16th Spring Surprise Bike Show

A gathering of motorcycles - very much a 'stand around and pose' type of event but is friendly and very well-patronised.
Of course, there will be some lovely machines but there's as much pleasure in the rides to and from.
Last time there were quite a few thousand bikes present.
I know a good shop selling home-made ice-cream and there will be lots of coffee-shops and take-away food outlets open - bakers and such-like.

I'll be there although not on the Silverwing but on my push-bike.

Darn, I will miss it as I am at a RC boat show near Reading with the club. Not a bad ride there, lots of different routes to travel before you join the park and pose

About a 50% chance of rain for most of the day. Oh well, that will drop the attendance numbers as the summer weekend warriors do not want their investment getting wet. Means it will be the more dedicated types there though I hope I am proved wrong and the place is packed. Unfortunately I will be getting wet at Reading with my RC boat club. Next Saturday it is bound to be raining when I ride up to the national military arboretum. 170 miles each way of motorway and dual carriageway

Trouble with the Ugly bunch ride outs is they are so far away from me stuck waaaay down south in Hampshire
