Properly little scooter
9 weeks ago I got myself back on a scoot, now not having a bike license I had 2 options - either deal with a 50 or do my CBT and ride a 125 with 'L' plates. I decided to go with the 50 and I've seriously not looked back, I commute around 40 miles a day and have racked up over 1200 miles already and the little 'beast' hasn't skipped a beat, I don't even mind being limited to 35!!

Blimey, you're brave. Even sticking to 30 limit roads, I don't envy you. Still, so long as you're happy with the ride, so what?
(But I bet you'll be hankering for a bit more oomph soon

125 with L's and re-do the CBT every 2 yrs... Perpetual Learner I think is the term...
If the 50 is serving you well... Enjoy...

Chris
Enjoy the 50cc. I bitterly regret selling my TR50.
There's numerous threads on other forums of epic trips on mopeds.

Re: Properly little scooter
Ok got my timeline horrifically wrong on my original post as I've worked out today that I've only had my scooter 11 weeks and 2 days so my original post was well wrong!!! (DONUT!!)
I'm only updating coz I was a little shocked at how quick it's done it, done what?!?! Racked up 2000 miles in my ownership (as of the end of last week) and last night crept over the 10,000 mile mark overall, still going strong and I'm loving it
