Any recommendations out there?

Question, what tyres are on at moment? How did you get on with them? Depends how you ride and what conditions and what do you want out of a tyre.I have always liked Bridgestones on my bikes,my 650 has Bridgestones so I’ll stick with them,I’ve used Avons on a maxi scoot with no issues at all,and always stick Avonson my Harley. Most will claim what they’re using is the best.

The current rear is a Bridgestone Hoop.
Only done around 5,500 miles and nearly gone.
Fancy a change

My rears done around 5k miles I changed the original at 3.8k miles due to going away to France in Summer.I ran Avons on a Silverwing 600 last year getting 5.5k miles out of them,I had no problems with them at all in wet or dry and I don’t crawl along lol. they were a lot cheaper than the Bridgestones.Like I said most riders will say their tyres are the best lol.I always used Bridgestones on my Fireblades and other sports bikes when I was able to ride them lol. But I always used Avons on Harleys ( last 11 years)

A question regarding the 400s steering,I found when I road my mates it had heavy steering and didn’t want to turn when cornering,he had Bridgestones on,is yours the same I know my mate got used to it but when he traded it for a 650 he commented on how different it steered to the 400

The Bridgestones fitted to the Silverwing are a slightly different spec to the
Burgman and have a little more thread, though my Burgman understeer on both,
still got some bit's about in the garage.

If you can get Dunlop GPR100's in your size I would thoroughly recommend them. Not just because they're what's fitted to my TMax but because I've never had a "moment" with them slipping or sliding in wet or dry. I don't hang around and have only about 1cm of "Chicken strip" on them. I'm on my second set. The first set lasted almost 10,000 miles with tread to go a bit more. They are really good tyres and I'll probably buy another set after these. They are a little bit more expensive but well worth the extra.
