Looked at the MCN website today, and there is actually a review of a Maxi-scoot tyre!!! :o :o :o This must be a first!

Looking at 'new'(?) Bridgestone SC2s https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/fir ... c2-review/

Perhaps the most interesting point is that he much prefers it to the Dunlop Roadsmart, which is OE on the DX version I think - the base model comes with Bridgestones (though I'm not sure if I have SC2s or not). £252 a pair though :o and that's just the tyres, without fitting!
The B.stones on the base model are certainly good tyres, though I'll be tempted to fit Michelin Pilot Road 4 or 5 when it comes to needing replacments.

The PR4 certainly comes in Tmax sizes - I had a set on the mk4. Whether the PR5 is available or not yet, I don't know.

I tried the Pilot road 4 sc and they are good but I prefer the bridgestone sc, not the ecopia, they just gave me the most confidence. But others have raved about the PR4SC as being better, I think it just depends on preference.

I liked the PR4 a lot, and the Bstones on the mk6 (whatever model they are) are very good. I didn't get on with the B.stone SC Ecos as they gave a very harsh ride, and then they wore in a strange way giving terrible handling so I had to throw them away. I always liked B.stones until then!!! Sadly, I didn't have a chance to see how long the PR4s lasted as I sold the scoot before they wore out. I'm not fixed on what I'll buy next, but I 'only' paid £200 or so fitted for the PR4s and B.stone seem to want £250 for these SC2s!!!!
