Ahhh, the 'frantic' Fantic, didn't see many 'ordinary ones' on the road, never ever saw a chopper version.

I had a 125 trails in about 1980 was great fun but I did`nt realise they did the odd road type bike from the factory ???
Its also a good example of prices going crazy and bit of greed getting in on older bikes too.
Best Mark.

In the seventies I was riding a Honda CB 200, to get to work. The Honda dealer then ( Jim Sandiford, A trials riding ace) told me to get a new bike a Honda CD 200. it could be had on 24 mths no interest Honda credit, so I did.

Ahh, the 70's, what a time to be a 'youngster' back when I had all my own teeth & hair flowing over my shoulders, depending on the year a brand new RD250 or abrand new T140v or a brand new daughter

Ram Air Suzuki 2-strokes with crap chrome, alloy, and paint that peeled, corroded, or rusted exposed to it's first winter. Early full face helmets that had scratch prone visors held on with press studs. Going to Oulton Park on Easter Bank Holiday to see the Transatlantic Trophy Races, We had Barry Sheene, Mick Grant, and Barry Ditchburn etc, and the Yanks had Kenny Roberts, Steve Baker, and Gene Romero etc.
Hi bud , Ram air was bollocks, peeps who took the silly cover off the head found performance actually improved, had copletely forgotten about the Transatlantic Trophy
Both times I've been banned were due to cumulative speeding offences on RD250's
