m riding a suzuki 2008 strom 650 and thought of getting a used tmax instead for practicality reasons.

Welcome James,

both good choices, I've owned every version of the V Strom except the latest incarnation (for now) a great all rounder that does everything but excite (IMO)

Think you'll like the T-max though never heard a bad word said about one
