Sithee all.
I've had over 90 bikes and scooters since I was 11 years old, 1973. The scooters have all been Vespa or Lambretta, no modern stuff before.
Serious brain injuries from a GV1200 off, back in '96. Had a few bikes since then but got rid of all about 5 years ago.
Just jumping, nervously, back in with a BMW C1 200. It's only a 200 but, with the roof, it's certainly Maxi. took it for a First ride on Saturday and scared myself! It is Heavy, 202kg. I'm hoping I can get some confidence over the next month or two, otherwise I'll sell it and go for a lighter weight Burgman or the like. I'll pop in and bother you every now and then so, you've been warned :?

Welcome. The C1 is of course quite top heavy so it's weight would be felt more than a Burger. But if you hanker for a feeling of safety, the Piaggio MP3 range might be worth a look. :)

Thanks for te welcomes.
The "Top Heavy" bit is the reason I'm selling it. Disability on right hand side and upper body weakness means I can hardly hold it up on slow corner set offs. I looked at an AN400 and really wish I'd taken that. I was just a bit iffy that it was over 30K on the clock.

As long as there's evidence of it having been serviced properly, I wouldn't blink at that sort of mileage on a 400 Burgman. They can make it round the clock if looked after.
