Honda pantheon 2003 oil change reset

Hello new to forum looking for some help i have a honda pantheon 125cc 2003
im having a nightmare trying to reset the oil change light which has come on and the online pdf shows different clocks to which i have my speedo is large type in center fuel gauge on right and temp on left oil change is next to the F1 on left hand side ive tried everything i change oil evry 1000 miles so oil does not need to be changed any help would be fantastic i have noticed if i turn key to first pos and press and hold clock button a red light on right hand side starts to flash but i cant work out how to reset the oil change light if i let go of clock button and press again clock stats to flash to change time ?? help plz lol

I dimly recall on my son's that you hold the clock button down first, then turn the ignition on and wait a few seconds till the light goes out. Then off, and on again to check it's gone. Worth a try?

Ignition on and press both daily mileage button and clock button at same time for more tham 2 seconds
