Anyone with a late model SH300 on here know how to remove the small plastic panel that sits between the top of the headlight and the clocks, recently bought a 2020 version and I want to fit the Honda screen and heated grips, the first move is removing the top panel, lifts off easily enough headlight end, well and truly stuck at the top (clock end) Dont want to break anything. Thanks John.

I'm in a similar state with my 20 125... Fitted the grips to the bars, need to get the cowl off to wire up...

I did it on a 2017 model to fit the honda screen, there is a you tube video on 'sh300 panel removal, there are two lugs which are a bugger to release, warm it up with a hairdryer as plastic becomes brittle when cold.

I've done it, by trial & error, but nothing broken, had to loosen the panel underneath the clocks first, there are some plastic clips you can see looking inside the gap between front & back half (gap where rubber handgrips are) 2 clips either side Top & bottom, these 2 parts will come apart enough to give enough clearance to lift the top panel up at the bottom, headlight end then push it straight back, towards the clocks. Loads more bits to und but after that you will see what's needed. Much easier to get back together, mine was a bit more complicated as fitted the Honda screen as well as heated grips.

I really don't understand bike and scooter designers, why don't they have exposed screws, make life easy for mechanics.
