Hi,
Thanks for letting me join the board. I have had a 2018 Honda SH300i since 2019 and it's really great for my daily 12 mile commute (each way). I used to ride various motorbikes and I wish it was a bit louder in traffic but I can't complain how nimble it is and how little fuel it uses!

Welcome, can I ask why do you wish the scoot was louder in traffic, when these days you need to listen out for electric cars bikes and buses coming up on you in traffic. Enjoy the site.

Re: Hi from London
Hi thanks for the welcome and sorry I didn't reply sooner!
I'd prefer the scooter being louder as when for example oveertaking stationery cars on the A40 getting into London I feel it would reduce the risk of cars changing lanes with no warning as I overtake them. I would certainly enjoy hearing my engine a bit more even with legality. I recently had a loan 2019 CBR500F and the stock exhaust really sounds great compared to a 2018 model I had had on my previous service. When I got back on my SH300 I felt the engine was silent

Re: Hi from London
Hi and welcome.
I've personally found that the loud pipes presence is a tad overrated.
As many people used to pull in front of my open piped Harleys as pull in front of anything else I've ever ridden, including the Zero I test rode!
I sympathise, though. In London traffic, I expect that even a blast on the horn gets lost in the general cacophony of noise.
If they ain't looking, they generally ain't listening either!
