Tempted by the Honda CT
As a 16/17 year old I had at least a couple of Honda C50/90/cub machines and I have been tempted to try a CT90/110/125 which I have always liked the look of. The amazing thing is that I could buy anything from a brand new CT125 ( albeit imported ) to a 45+ year old original and I have been weighing up the pros and cons. I'm now leaning towards a historic one because it makes more financial sense to have something which I can put away in the shed and it will cost me nothing in depreciation or tax if I don't enjoy riding it. So I am keeping a close eye on various Ebay offerings - watch this space!

Re: Tempted by the Honda CT and now its here!
Honda CT90 is now mine.

Cosmetically its almost in showroom condition and its hard to believe its a 1970 machine. But quite a lot of mechanical work to do I think.
Looking forward to a ride round the block but I'll have to be patient.

I restored a CT90 some years ago, DRATV. COM was a good source for engine parts. Lot of help and info at https://ct90-ct110.com/

Roadster, Congratulations, you’ve got a beauty there, I hope it’s running and that you have not too much work to do on it.
A bit like the work I intend to do on my ST70.....(@ 84!

Re: Tempted by the Honda CT
Your choice of getting an early CT90 is a good one, I chose my ST70 for the same reason, free road fund licence, no M.O.T. required just get on and ride, at other times just going into the garage to ‘play’ with the bikes by adding updated parts is a tonic in itself. I’ve yet to feel fit enough to try out the little ST on the road but here’s hoping 2023 will give me the opportunity.
