I've just had a look on Trustpilot. It doesn't look good.. A lot of people have not received items.

No experience of them. Just browsed some Google reviews which seem very mixed, to say the least! I get the impression that if what you want is in stock they send it immediately, if its not, they don't bother communicating with you in anyway. People say that some staff are great, others are total tossers.....

Beedspeed ltd went into liquidation 15/11/18 Two of the directors, Alan Beeham and Sylvia Beeham have another company called Beed2 ltd, this is still a current live company on companies house. There is also a non limited company called Beedspeed which trades from the same address. Beedspeed ltd was a Creditor Voluntary Liquidation which is instigated by directors when the company is clearly insolvent, this is quite a common occurrence. I'm surmising the directors took the decision to cease trading with Beedspeed ltd due to creditor pressure and place the company in the hands of an insolvency practitioner to seek creditor approval for the company to be liquidated. Beed2 ltd was incorporated 7/4/16 so was already set up prior to the liquidation of Beedspeed. So at the moment they still appear to be trading, on paper at least.

It's a common trick - go bust owing hundreds of thousands (often to HMRC) then restart the business under a similar name. I think directors of companies that do this sort of thing should be banned.

Sometime it's not the directors fault, they get stiffed by debtors.

Sometimes maybe. However I have direct experience where a company went "bust" owing hundereds of thousands then restarted doing exactly the same things, same directors, same address, (almost) the same name......
