Oh bugger... for some reason I thought the date for the ride was the 10th... if I can get fuel I will still make it but I thought I had a week more for things to die down a bit.

Although I've finally managed to get petrol today (159.9p per litre!!!) as I have work next week and need to conserve it I'll have to miss tomorrow's ride.

I think I am going to have to sit this one out to, I tried at 06:00 this morning riding around the petrol... or I should say diesel stations, because thats all they had.

It’s a pity the fuel situation has occurred. It would appear it’s only the south east and London affected. Friends up north say they have no problems whatsoever. Anyway, barring breakdown, I’ll be there as I’ve a full tank. Look forward to meeting you.
