3 wheeled electric scooter!

Just before Christmas, I saw a chap riding one of these three-wheeled scooter-based electric disabled vehicles to the local Aldi. He was going at quite a pace and I thought to myself, he's almost certainly a former motorcyclist/scooterist. The design is obviously based on one of the numerous small Chinese scooters, but I think it is one of the neatest I've seen. That capacious front box could certainly hold a good stock of Aldi wine bottles! The one in the pictures is currently listed for sale on Ebay with zero mileage, at £1235 ono. Another few years and...I might have been tempted!

I have 4 electric scooters so can recount several problems with most of them ….. 1st is/was a 3 wheel handlebar folding removable seat scoot with removable floor mounted battery/charger £300: on the heavy side, half fills SUV luggage space.

2. New £4500.00 (now 18 month old) Five wheel Quingo (foldable, drives itself into boot but is HEAVY, fills SUV+ with fibreglass ramps, £2,000.

3 & 4. Two x 3 wheel foldable seat, foldable h/bar, foldable front wheel, all lights / buzzer, 6mph, 40 mile battery,17Kg each: e-Foldi 1.5, £2000 ea, BOTH fit inside SUV rear trunk, take 5mins to assemble!

Items 1 & 2 are available for sale

3 & 4 are the best and most practical scoots for 1/4 mile journeys between car park and hospital, also inside hospital, can easily be carried on planes, boats, busses or anywhere.
