Most areas are expected to have gusts of 70-100mph and will be compared to 1987 and 1990.

Therefore please do not ride tomorrow as its going to be dangerous especially in the south west.

Make sure the bike is safe as it will be blown over.

Take care.

Dudley wasn't as bad as forecast here - just as bad today as it was yesterday!

It was gusty here yesterday evening and during the night, but nowhere as bad as forecasted.
See what Eunice brings. 🤔
Scoot is tucked up in the shed, and staying there till normality is resumed. 👍

So what's the next one going to be?

Hmm.... Finn, Felix, Francisco, Frank, Fabian, Francis, Fred, Floyd, Fulton, Finton, Frazier?

Then it'll be a girls name with G - Gertrude!

I was out and about in Dudley (well Sheffield and Chesterfield) yesterday and didn't have a problem. Been out on it today as well, the wind doesn't seem to bother it too much, it's all the crap that gets washed and blown on to the roads that's the problem.
Seeing as were into the F's shall we call the next one FART, well it starts with Fa so it should be next

The next storm up here is for24 hours from 9 o'clock on Sunday morning.
We had storm force 10 winds during Wednesday and late into the night.
I was down at the docks just after lunch today; the wind was still quite strong but the sea was bordering on flat, sheltered from the West wind by the land.

Had to go out on GTS today into darkest Suffolk on advocacy work. Total distance covered 62 miles. Quite breezy with wind speeds of 42-50mph. A12 & A14 was pretty busy but cruising at 70mph was not an issue. The GTS is very stable in most conditions. But don't think I'll be going out tomorrow Chris.

All the Dorset schools are shut tomorrow, (Fri) they're taking it seriously here! The worst of the storm seems to be both sides of the Bristol Channel, combined with the early Spring Tides.
