Ive put a deposit down on the new Tmax Tech Max 2022
Should arrive here in Australia in a month or so.
I had the 2014 Tmax (Mark 4), and loved it. But sold it off to get a smaller scoot, because I stopped travelling to work, so just didn't use it much anymore. Ive found Ive missed having a bigger scoot, so now I'll own 2 scoots.
Australia has always been about 1 to 2 years behind regarding new Tmax models. When a new Tmax comes out, it generally won't make it here for at least 1 to 2 years later.
But the 2022 Tech Max is on its way here now. Australia has also only ever received the base model Tmax. So the first time we have received the model with full specs (heated grips, heated seat and cruise control)
Now I'm semi-retired, I need to go on some bigger rides. So this beast will be fun for that. (also --- Ive been watching a bit of YouTube channel "Million Dollar Bogan" he does some really good rides. He lives in the same town as I do. So its kind of made me want to do some longer rides. If you have time, this is a good adventure by Million Dollar Bogan. His dosnt ride a scoot, but none the less I enjoyed this adventure. )

Ooh, exciting! Mk8 Tmaxs haven't arrived in the UK yet either, though they are due very soon, so you're not so far behind everyone else on this.
I do toy with getting a new Tmax, but I don't think the mk8 or mk7 would be a sufficiently big step forward over my mk6 to be worthwhile - they are fundamentally the same bike. You will be amazed how different the mk8 will feel compared to your old mk4!

I do remember reading your comments in the past, comparing your Mk 6 and your old Mk 4. Looking forward to it.

Congrats on the new bike. Do let us all know how she rides!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Re: Tmax 2022 - Tech Max
Finally picked up my new Tmax yesterday from the dealer. Short ride home. Now have to run it in.
All I’ve done so far is adjust the bum rest a little further forward.
Just have to wait for this wet rainy cold weather to move on. It’s a 49 year record in my part of Australia, for being so cold at the start of winter for so long. Been having 4 Deg nights and 12 degrees days, in Celsius.
Oh yeah. Some pics. Pics were taken late in the day, so not much light.
