Well, there you are. If I bought a DCT equipped bike/scoot, I can't imagine ever leaving Sport mode!abitmad wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 12:17 pm
Personally as purely a leisure rider, I have no desire to ride slower than my enjoyment threshold just to attain good mpg, that's a poor trade-off in my view. I suspect my mpg might fall a little in future as I become more accustomed to the Forza and experiment more with the sport mode just for added kicks. Unfortunately, get your kicks on the A41, doesn't make for a good song lyric.

If it’s any help, I only ride two up on my 2019 NC750x and my mpg is always 85 to 95 dependant on A road or dual carriageway riding.
My Tmaxs only ever gave 55 to 66 mpg on a similar basis. Like Mr Grumpy I had rust issues and small stones being picked up in the drive making holes in the drive belts. I thought belt drive was the answer. It wasn’t at least for me.

On the mk6 Tmax, I normally get 56-58mpg, though this improves to low 60s with longer, gentler summer trips, so similar to your Tmax figure....though I never go 2 up! I'm not the gentlest or most laid back rider out there!

Sat on one the other day . Much more cramped / less roomy . feels narrower but in a flimsy way . Seat pushed me forwards meaning bars hit my knees . So a non fit for me
