Burgman revived!

After a 2 year slumber (the bike, not me) I woke up my 2005 AN400 and went for a pre MOT ride this afternoon, to celebrate my 80th tomorrow, It's nice to be reminded just what a great piece of kit the scoot is, quite comfortable and still accelerated briskly through 75 going up a fair old "Blue Remembered Shropshire Hill"!
It's aso amazng how that engine/transmission reliably "pulls from nothing" on winding really steep climbing hairpins.
Just a bit short of leg room if I'm to be pernickerty.
Anyone got one of those rider's backrest converter things for sale cheapish?

If this one got nicked or broken, I'd certainly buy another.

Robin.

Thank you Knight,
Mind you, I made a cockup of the date, celebrating with a nice meal with friends and family tomorrow, but birthday is actually Sunday, put it down to yet another "senior moment", does mean I will probably be allowed out for another ride in the morning.

Oh, this is excellent! Reunited practically on your birthday. I think it's pretty much impossible not to enjoy a ride on any Burgman. Glad you enjoyed it! And congrats on the birthday. Don't worry about the senior moments...they only get worse but the good news is you can't remember them...lol. Happy Birthday!
