Hi crippy, where in south Derbyshire are you? I've been looking for scooter clubs in south derbyshire too but with no joy. We might have to start one ourselves!

Hi one foot couldn’t,t get back stuck on ferry , I live in Swadlincote area , sometimes dare,nt go near Matlock on Sundays. I love my Sh but feel I should go back to my old r1200 but am getting long in the tooth ? crippy

Hi crippy, sounds bad! You've got one of your feet stuck on a ferry. I'd be worried about that.... And sometimes you are scared to go near Matlock, but only on Sundays! But...you love your SH but feel you want to go back to your R1200 but you're long in the tooth!

Well, certainly I would not go back to your R12. The SH is superior in so many ways for so many people. Regarding your foot. I'm sure you can get that back. Matlock is always very busy over the weekends at this time of the year so not going there is a great idea. Getting long in the tooth, tell me about it! Great post by the way.
