Hi
Just to say hi
I'm picking up a Kawasaki J300 on Tuesday......2015 SE model....just shy of 12,000 miles
It's a tidy one so I'm looking forward to many years of scootering
I'm getting it as I'm struggling to get on and off my Versys X300 😢😢😢
I've had a few scoots before....2 Burgman 400 carb models and a Honda 300
Looking forward to meeting some of you on the road
Cheers
Spike

P.S.
I'm also a fan of Honda 90's so if anyone is on C90club forum, you might know me from there

Hi Spike

Yeah, there's a fair crossover between the 2 forums.

Enjoy your new Kwak. 8-)

I think you will enjoy the J300. I had the Kymco equivalent and it performed very well. If you are the sort of person that uses full performance a set of EBC sintered pads ( SFA142HH for the Downtown 300i but check the dimensions against yours in case they changed ) will add a bit more bite on the front. I also found that on full acceleration from rest it would pink a bit so it might prefer to run on E5 fuel now. By the way I also have a Honda CT90 ( 1970'ish ). If you don't have the original documents I can let you have a PDF copy of the Downtown owners manual but its too big to send via the forum, so PM me your email if you want it.

Welcome! You be careful with the J300 - it's a lively thing and encourages the hooligan in you :)
