Hawes roadworks

Post by knight2 »

I don't know if anybody was planning on visiting Hawes, but it looks as though it could be busy

If you are passing by Hawes rather than visiting it, there's a unclassified road that runs parallel to the A684 to the North that acts as a bypass. Anyway, it'll be snowing up there soon!

Yeah I know the one if I remember it comes out near Bolton Castle. I was thinking of maybe having a run up that way tomorrow, but I'll have a look at the forecast in the morning.

Ah it'll still be sunny that far south for a while yet. The years not over till the caribou start crossing the A68 up near Tow Law...

I used to go over to Hawes a lot when I had big bikes, the road from White Scar to Hawes is superb and fast. Now on the R/E I've been exploring B roads round The Trough, got as far as Settle a couple of weeks ago.(from Manchester).
Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.

Got to agree with you about the road from white scar to hawes, brilliant road, brilliant scenery, though I usually ride it from Ribblehead to Hawes as I like the run up from Settle to Ribblehead. I like the Trough a lot particulary the road from Dunsop bridge to the jubilee tower.
