Who is up for the above scooter meet? I've never been to one of their meetings before so I'll need lots of others to accompany me there.
I'm able to navigate there from my hometown of Chelmsford (meet at Widford Church on the A414), maybe someone from further afield can arrange the ride to Chelmsford? - that would be great.

Depends on weather for me Mark. Pretty much for the first time ever in my life I find I'm having to be careful at the moment. Heart doesn't like the cold much just now. I'll let you know nearer the time mate!

Good to hear that there's a bit of interest for this scooter meet but we need more.. and how about some of you guys and girls from the outer reaches of Essex and across borders in Suffolk and Norfolk. I hear you in these forums but not met many of you yet. Unite Maxi-Muppets!

Used to be a big meet for the muppets a long time back.

It certainly did.

I remember heading up from Sussex, meeting JohnP, Nexus Maximus (Barry), ThatMan, Smurph and many others at South Mimms on the M25 and riding in to the Ace on Scooter day, 2008 or 2009. Several others met us there or turned up later.

The Raleigh Chopper meet was on the same day then, too.

A group of X9ers used to meet there every Saturday for breakfast; I went from about 2003 until I left for Belgium in 2008.
Riders came from all over the Midlands and South, a couple from as far as Portsmouth.
