I recently bought a new Forza 350 ( 24/03/ 23.) When cleaning it ,after a little run last week, i noticed there was no Lower rear mudguard. I returned to the dealer and pointed this out. They pointed to other Forza 350 in stock and sure enough no lower mudguard on them. On closer inspection i could see two points were a mudguard would fit. Going on ebay i found one that would match the fitting points i had seen. It costs £25 including postage. So Honda do not include a £25 mudguard on a £5799 new bike! Shame on them!!.

You have highlighted a major niggle with my new Honda CB300 - a rear wheel with virtually no mudguard. Splash through any puddle and the entire underside from number plate to the single rear shock is covered in mud! No easy fix for this because the Pyramid rear mudguard extender only adds a few inches at a cost of £35.

Not Honda, but the design of the front of my Kymco X360 has a sort of beak at the front, which causes road grime to get flicked up onto the headlights. Never had to clean them so much before with any bike I've had over the last 20+ years.

Try keeping a Triumph Street Scrambler clean in winter.
Oh, you mean we're only supposed to ride them on dry roads..??

A classic Enfield 350 stays clean and my Hunter 350 on the same trip, same day gets very mucky. Vallanced mudguards work.

Out of interest, where did you source one for £25? TIA

This is one of the reasons I have gone off modern motorbikes, they seem to be very minimalist. Gone are all the practical things I used to like, valanced mudguards, enclosed chains, enclosed suspension, crash bars, leg guards, fairings with hand protection some even had a small space under the seat to keep waterproofs in. IT's one of the reasons I like the burgman as it has a lot of these things.
I wonder if this is the reason so few people use bikes to commute or maybe this is because people don't use them to commute. Chicken and egg type thing.

Bikes have basically become big-boys weekend toys these days. They aren't designed to be ridden to actually get somewhere.

I just put in Ebay"Lower Rear mudguard Forza 350". A lot of useful things are available.

I fitted the new rear mudguard to my Forza 350, it was not made for my model but," i customized it" to fit. Now got 800 miles up. Compared with my Cruisym 300i i have to say, the Cruisym is more comfortable, longer leg panels, and larger seating area. The Forza accelerates a little faster ,but it is a slightly bigger engine. The only upside i can see to the Forza, is that servicing is every 8000mls, compared to 5000km on the Cruisym. As i do my own servicing i will not know any good or bad points, until servicing time comes around. MPG is about the same 88-94. My Shad 29 top box now can be fitted on either bike.
