Honda International warranty and breakdown

Hi All

My trusty 2022 Honda Vision 110 is now out of warranty and is starting to play up. Mainly transmission issues but its clocked up 14500 miles in just over two years and has been well hammered two up over a lot of hills etc. Its carried on the back of our motorhome. So I am thinking of getting a new one in Spring 2025 as we are off touring Europe for six months. Now I know Honda have a two year warranty and Honda care breakdown but trying to get a straight answer out of Honda as to how that works if you are touring several western European countries over a long period of time on a UK bike is like trying to get blood out of a stone. So I am after real life experiences if there are any.

What I want to know is if I breakdown on a new Honda Bike in the Pyrenees or the Alps if Honda will recover the bike, fix it under warranty and return it to me. In theory they should but just wondering if anyone had been through that experience. Im not envisaging any problems but fail to prepare, prepare to fail an all that! :D

I get where you're coming from! It's always good to prepare for the unexpected. From my understanding, Honda's warranty and breakdown coverage should apply across Europe, but I’d recommend double-checking with Honda customer service directly or with a local dealer to get clear details. They might be able to confirm if they’ll handle things in more remote areas like the Pyrenees or Alps.

I'm just about to add a new ADV350 to my fleet ( NC750X & CRF300 Rally) in March and was rather hoping that Honda would follow Yamaha and extend the warranty to 3 years. the current two year warranty looks a bit stingy.....?

also look at your insurance policy, most include euro breakdown for a small fee.
