Hi, I'm new to the forum.
I wonder if anyone knows the size difference for after market exhaust between an Xmax 400 and a 300.
I can find lots on the 300 but not much on the 400. I wonder if the parts for the 300 is compatible with the 400.

Limited knowledge but I believe that they were two separate platforms.

The 300 shared many more mutually compatible parts with the 125 than with the 400.

ie the 125 and 300 were modular, the 400 wasn't.

I'd err on the side of it not being compatible unless someone knows definitively.

Pretty sure the 400 is a quite different machine - the weight difference shows that - so I wouldn't risk it.

If I also recall correctly, once you take the weight into account, the extra power of the 400 did not add any performance yet had worse fuel consumption. Only if you regularly rode with pillion would it make sense. Hence I think very low sales in comparison which of course means less chance of any bespoke bits being produced and available.
