My plan today was to go out on the Forza 350 around 8ish,give it a nice little run,due to crappy weather and a injury at work not been out for a couple of months, when i took the rubbish out to the bins,i heard the neighbours scrapping their windscreens,so a change of plan, shopping first using the car, breakfast in the farm shop, back home shopping away, finally got out just after lunch, very pleasant riding conditions rode about 40 miles,it felt great to be back on two wheels😁

I pulled in to Motorcycle World Northampton for a browse and coffee, showroom emptyish About 10 New Indian Motorcycles,3 or 4 new Suzuki’s,a range of new Honda’s NT1100dct,ADV750,CB350 and a range of 125’s,turns out Piaggio/Vespa,Suzuki are going, they are becoming a Honda dealer this month, shop is being refitted within the next two weeks, then more Honda’s coming in,this is all from the sales rep i spoke to,they are still keeping Indian Motorcycles,i guess they will have a newly updated website shortly, pretty handy for me,already asked if they will honour my service plan…..Steve

Some good 'dealer' news for once!
Now can we have one back in the Cheltenham/Gloucester area please...nearest is now Stratford on Avon...

Honda dealers along the South coast have all but gone. Only one left i can think of, that is Honda at Farnham, about 40-ish miles from me. Bought a CB125F from them back in 2016, had a good experience overall.
Contacted them last October to order some Genuine Honda MB spec oil for my Honda SH300i and they had no idea what it was lol. Tried selling me their preferred/recommended brand oil being Silkolene but wrong spec MA.
We used to have Honda at Chichester, and Honda at Southampton. Both gone over the years.

Totally agree about the lack of dealerships along the South coast. When I wanted to buy a new Grom I went up to Farnham and found the salesman completely disinterested. They had one on the showroom floor but when I asked about buying it he said he couldn't sell it! He could order me one but had little idea when it would be delivered, take it or leave it - so I left it! I bought one via the internet. The CB300R I have now came from the Southampton dealer who is no longer a Honda dealer so though I have been very happy with Honda products I doubt whether I will buy any more. The contrast between car dealers and bike dealers is staggering when it comes to customer respect.
