New to the forum

Post by Hugoagogo »

Good afternoon,

Thought I'd take the opportunity to introduce myself as a new member to the forum.

I live in Northumberland, I'm middle aged (quelle surprise), I currently own a KTM Duke 390 with embarrassing low mileage that I'm planning on moving on to make way for a maxi. I also have a Honda Grom and a Kymco Agility 125 (that may well make space for the maxi as well).

Currently mulling over what maxi to buy, shortlist (in no particular order):

ADV 350
Forza 350
Sym Joymax 300+

Hello and welcome!
I live in Seaham and patronise Newcastle Motorcycles; I bought my Forza 350 there four years ago and my Honda Vision four weeks ago. ;)

Hello Mike,

I got my Grom from there in 2023, Graham sorted me out.

I went round last week to check out the Forza and ADV, called into BDM motorcycles on the way to see the Sym Joymax (they only had the 125).

Paul sorted me out when my brake caliper was leaking, the new caliper kept turning up in black rather than the stock gold I was after.
Rode around for over 6 months sporting the black caliper.

Welcome. I'd put the Kymco DT X360 on your list too. Had mine for 2.5yrs and not missed a beat.

"Middle aged," is very young for this forum ...

Welcome, junior! ;)

i have fond memories of many miles in Rhodes on a Kymco Agility 125. A very underrated scooter that can rack up monster mileages.

Perhaps I'm biased, but I recommend a Forza. The Sym - I had one a few years ago, and unless things have changed you won't be able to get parts for it. The importers are useless. The build quality is top notch and up there with the Japanese. But if you need replacement parts forget it.
