I have Almax Chains, expensive i know, but as my stead lives outside,i needed something beefy to help deter the ####bags,my tmax was taken by a misunderstood youth carrying a cordless angle grinder, only a Oxford 12 mm chain on that ,i know the old saying “if they really want it,they’ll take it”but a couple of Almax Chains will certainly take a while to cut through, back to my point, the chains are ok,but the sleeves/covers are looking a bit tatty,so wanted to replace them,it looks like Almax Chains have gone down the pan!!!!!

Check out Pragmasis. I have a 2 metre long 13mm thickness "Protector" chain from them, the quality is second to none.

They were retiring and shutting down the business but have been resurrected by new owners with a promise to maintain quality.

You won't buy a better chain anywhere.
