Could l ask Burgman owners for recommendations for a weatherproof cover? It is a 2020 version AN400, with the slimmer profile butt and fitted with the Givi 47litre box.

I have a cover already, made of quite heavy nylon material that is some twenty years old. It is no longer waterproof and fading fast.
I’m looking for something similar, (but newer!).
Some l have seen on bikes around town look too flimsy and not likely to last very long.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Try Oxford. I have one and it is good quality. Specify the size. For a Burgman it will have to be large. And remove the top box before putting the cover on. It will make it a lot easier.

Oxford do a cover that allows for a top-box, but I've never owned one of those. I think I saw it in the local Infinity store.
