Sh300 non runner
Hi all , I had a problem with my 07 sh300i in that it wouldn't start, I came to the conclusion it was fuel related so took the injector out there was a bit of rubber loose on the nozzle end so I got a new injector still wouldn't start but I checked the spray pattern on the new one and it looked ok. I also put a brand new spark plug in and eventually got it running on about half throttle but sounded rough I felt the pressure of the exhaust gas coming out of the silencer and it almost blistered my hand ! No smoke or anything but won't Rev or tick over just about runs on half throttle; any ideas ? TIA

For something this fundamental start by checking air intake path and exhaust outlet path for major blockage. Simply remove the silencer and the connection to the air cleaner see if there is any difference in symptoms. Rubber on the injector nozzle might indicate some kind of failure of the intake pipework or air cleaner. Could some sort of foreign object been sucked in to the air intake?

Thank you, I got it running again by changing the injector and cleaning the oxygen sensor but now have a problem with the FI light flashing will try to get it off by doing what the manual says to do. I think the problem was originated by myself by mistakenly putting some two stroke mix in the tank whick maybe threw the lambda sensor off !
