Now we're all mad keen on the Honda ADV350, but Zontes are releasing something very similar, but with more power and cheaper! Wildly popular in Europe apparently. A video review here....

Seeming no higher top speed than Adv350.

It weighs nearly as much as my 'manual' NC750X, which being a slopper engine carries its weight low.

Well, its the same weight dry as the Honda ADV350 is wet, but has rather more power - its not like the old Majesty / XMax 400s that weighed as much as a Tmax.

Honda need to up their game.
I generally avoid Chinese products, but these are getting so far ahead it becomes tempting. I'll take a proper 360cc/40 HP CVT over the Japanese seemingly take it or leave it 280cc scooter or 750cc small wheel motorcycle.

Lack of dealers/spares.

Yes, spare parts availability long term is an unknown. But dealer networks seem to be an issue for all brands - even the big brands have trimmed their networks drastically. Ironically here in the Lakes, there is a Zontes dealer within reach (though not very close), but far closer than any Honda or Yamaha dealer.
