Newbie.

Post by k80matey »

Hi from Blairgowrie in Perthshire.
Thanks for letting me join.
I’ve been a biker for about sixty years, Don’t know how many bikes I’ve had over all those years! I currently own and ride Guzzi V7, Cali 1100, BMW R60/7, Enfield Bullet Trials Replica and a 350 Bullet. I started riding on a Vespa 150 of fond memory.
Got a bit of a knee problem now and am having trouble getting on and off the bikes, so I’m thinking of thinning the herd to make room for a scooter.
Suzuki seem the most reasonably priced although I don’t know much about any of them really, I’ve only watched some online reviews. I’ve never seen one in the metal much less sat on or ridden one.
I’m thinking the 400 would probably suit me but I’m here to learn.
Looking forward to it.
Rob.

Hello and welcome!
I started riding later on in life; it will be 25 years next year since I passed my Test.
I have owned only maxiscoters, that last two being a Honda Silverwing 600, a beautiful bike, which I replaced because its weight was beginning to prove too much for my ageing limbs to wheel about, with a Honda Forza 350.
I have absolutely no regrets whatever although I loved the Silverwing.
