Hi all, I have a fully loaded trip to Austria coming up in 3 weeks time and I thought the best solution was to buy a 58,000 mile sh300 with a bad engine knock. Some regrets are being had - this is my first scooter, I'm used to old Honda SOHC 125s and c90s etc, so it came as quite a surprise that it took me over 3 hours to pull the engine out yesterday.

So far I've encountered a seized pivot pin engine mount thing, may have to cut that but will secure a spare before it comes to that. Haven't resorted to heat yet, only hit it with the impact. Wish me luck, and prepare for a deluge of questions and head scratching nonsense.
