• Forza 750

I took delivery of a 2021 Forza 750, midweek, 11k miles, and went for my first ride on it today. Did 100 miles and it went well. Compared to my ADV 350 it covers the ground easier, and the suspension is more compliant and comfortable, it is more capable on dual carriageways and motorways, handles acceleration and higher speeds easier. I even experienced an automatic blipped downshift when decelerating on a closed throttle, when braking for a tight bend. Negatives - a lot heavier moving it about, but not too bad - the weight's low, not as much room under the seat so I've fitted the 45L Shad topbox I saved from my X Max 300. I got some buffeting on my helmet at higher speeds, I will try either a wind deflector or might get a Givi Airflow screen.

Yes, well it is undoubtedly a better engineered bike/scoot than the ADV350 as it is clearly a bike in disguise. Very similar in principle and capabilities to the TMax. But it comes at an extra cost of course - though not so outrageously with the Forza as the Tmax! But in many ways it is remarkable how good the ADV350 is, given that its a basic swinging-engine design scoot and its pretty cheap, and it is quite lovable in many ways, even if the suspension is a bit firm and it could do with a bit more grunt. I've only ridden a NC Engine/DCT combo once on a test ride of an early X-ADV and it didn't float my boat - seemed very dull and no fun.
I'm thinking about replacing my ancient Tmax with something with a bit more power to supplement the ADV, but I'm a bit wary of newer Tmaxs, not to mention the exorbitant costs. I may end up with something Chinese, which has the advantage of cheapness, if nothing else!

The bigger Forza was the first machine I looked at after my C650 was nicked last year. Got talking to another customer at the dealer who was in looking for something to replace his... Forza 750 that had been nicked. Makes you want to buy a wood chipper and feed people into it.

Great info, Thank You for posting.

I will replace my 350 in the spring and keep circling back to the 750. The new crop of Chinese 450+ CVT's tick so many boxes but I can't see them quite matching a 58HP motorcycle with enough scooter features to keep me happy. Wouldn't look at the Yamaha until they sort the emulator plug issue and lower the price. Honda pricing is not big or clever but isn't my primary concern (which is why they do it). I am hoping enough buyers get enough of what they need from Zontes etc. to put them all under pressure. Free touring pack or 0% credit would feel less like Honda laughing at me.

Are you also a member on NC750.co.uk ? Good bunch, enough of us in the Forza Faction to get the odd tip.

I'll join the woodchipper queue if I may, but given its length will also be following my policy of new bike - new lock to stay level in the arms race.

Correction, the stolen bike was a modernish Aprillia. Now found a few streets way. Probably saved by the immobiliser.

I'm on the NC 700 Forum UK which covers all NC models and other bikes, and have been for a few years, but not posted much, as I've not kept the bikes long. I don't have a good track record keeping them, you'd think I'd learn, but I keep being attracted to them. This is my 5th from the NC 700/750 range.

Literally 8 forza 750 for sale on auto trader. 7 of which are brand new!!! I prefer the 2nd edition as the seat has a perfect bump for your lower back, updated screen and design. Ut at £10699....its alot!!

Used ones are definitely thin on the ground, the one I bought was the only used one for sale on Autotrader when I bought it. Don't mention lower backs, I was topping up the coolant yesterday - what a faff, so hard to get at. Managed it eventually, but when moving the bike forwards, the side stand must have caught the ground and folded back, and I nearly dropped it. I just managed to keep it up at the expense of my lower back which I strained in doing so. I can confirm they are heavy!

I did think of getting a forza after the Adv350. But the weight put me off. The auto yamaha mt07 I have is 50kg lighter and has another 15hp.
