Broke down today on the Burgman which the man at the RAC said was due to the alternator not putting
out sufficient charge to the battery.
Apart from looking for the obvious, such as a loose or disconnected wire any ideas please on what else it might be?

Your dealer should know all about it.
I've heard of a few regulator failures on new Burgmans lately.
Maybe it's a big issue as there was also, earlier in the year, a lack of spares in the UK too so maybe indicating a sudden demand?
Not a big problem and a quick fix once you have the part.

Thanks for the leads guys. I will speak to a main dealer today to see what the next course of action is to get it sorted!
