Has anybody used.....

Post by MarcG »

Oponeo?
I'm considering fitting a Michelin Pilot Sport to the rear of the Burger as I've heard good reports about them and they're only £70 delivered from here.
The Bridgestone on the Burger at present is starting to square off despite only covering 2,700miles!! There's not many corners on the A12

My Burger goes in for a service on Thursday, had one done a month before the Alps trip and new rear tyre.
Thursday: service and another rear tyre 3,700miles :( I wish Metzler did tyres for the burger as the Tourances
i used to fit to the 1200gs used to last 12000miles on the rear and 16000 on the front....

I'm off to Ireland on the bike in about 10 days and need to get the rear Bridgestone on the Burger changed as it's now squared off significantly after 3,000 miles!

I was considering ordering a Michelin Pilot Sport SC from HERE which today is £68 with free delivery BUT they can't guarantee a date of delivery (it does state on their website terms 'up to 30 days').

I've called two local garages for prices and one quoted £117 fitted and the other quoted £140 fitted! WTF

If you guys have any suggestions of garages in Essex or South London I could try for prices, it'd be most appreciated.
