One of those August days where the obligatory South East wind blows off the coast and brings rain at random intervals. The event wasn't as busy as the April and October Classic Bike shows at Ardingly but then this was the first ever of these events. It was certainly a feast for the eyes of anyone who likes Yammy LCs, Honda CBXs, Suzuki GT Kettles and Kwack Z900s. There were loads of each both in the show and in the bike parks.
Anyway, here are some crap photos to illustrate some, but by no means all, of the tasty machinery there today.
Parked up next to me, RCB1000 BolD'or '76 replica just like the one Alex George and Jean Claude Chemarin rode....(not quite but it looked great!)

"Ooh look an LC!" ....before we saw about a dozen more!

GT380 (yes I used to have one....long story)

A common as muck Z900

A Katana

GSX1100

I walked past this little Kwak before realising it was a W1. Styling details carried on to the W800 abound..seriously!

A CBX wow! ...again before we tripped over a whole glut of the buggers

Another Z900

Some further photos of that lovely little W1

Suzuki GT750 kettle. You don't see many of those around.....

....except here, maybe.

Harris Magnum

Some electric racer

Lovely Trident. Nowt like standard I'm sure but tasty!

Laverda SF750

Faired Jota, non standard I'm guessing in that I never remember a standard faired one.

I wanted a photo of Phil Read's race bike but this old bastard kept sitting on it so I took his picture instead! (Nice guy by the way, and we didn't mention the '78 TT!)

Falling over more LC350s.....

.... on the way to CBX corner

Norton Commando Roadster

Nice A65 Beeza

Manx Norton in racing trim

High mileage XJ600

Some bike park pics:-
Jota

Z900

XS650

250 Superdream

Charity shop helmet, 1942 Harley W750 flathead, kicking up and pulling away in the wet using a foot clutch with a crowd watching. Cool does not even begin to describe this guy!

RD400

K1 ( I like them, so there!

Katana

Another bloody CBX!!!

XT500 (if thou shouldst covet they neighbour's bike....let it be one of these!)

Bugger, I lied, nay forgot, this lovely Helix that was there. Abbie pronounced it her favourite scooter ever, "it's like a child drew it and Honda made it, it's brilliant!"

GS1000 "ice cream van"

This Diesel Enfield seems to be at every show/event I go to

Sports Motorcycles '78 Hailwood (TT winning) Ducati replica (shhhhh don't tell Phil Bloody Read!)

Kwak W650 (so I can be an anorak and look at photos of this, mine and the W1 to pick out similarities/differences)

Black Z1R (most were silver)

Very late model Meriden Bonnie with TSS head and electric start just like my mate Gayle had back in t'80s
