Trying to find a DCT S version to roadtest is like rocking horse shit... all the dealers so far only have the X in DCT.

try the X, same engine, it will help you decide if the DCT is the way to go for you.

The X maybe a better bet Funky as with those long legs they could well be around your chin on the S
I had a Givi screen on my X with KTM hand guards, never got that wet apart from toes so good boots needed...
Ow! i Lie, we got a reet soaking coming back from France...all of us..

If the reduced weather protection (especially legs and head) plus the loss of feet forward doesn't bother you then NC750X DCT would be a good option, with your height I'd be very surprised if the S suits you.
If not already sorted by a previous owner you'll need a rad guard, fenda extenda & rear hugger (or shocksock), but hopefully these will have been sorted.

I can recommend Kent Motorcycles, a main Honda dealer, easy to find, on the A2 near Dover

It looks like the demo is up for grabs

Should be, the SDG is the auto. On the second to last picture there is no clutch lever. He's also selling the ADV http://kent-motorcycles.co.uk/used/slug-s5c42v

Booked a test ride of an X DCT for Friday and a sit down on an S, will see what I think. I think I'll like it either way.
