silly sausages   i would not use slick 50 in your small quantity of oil in the j300  contains P.T.F.E. which can cause blockages on air filter paths and airways the oil is transported on :D as the pathways are small in the engine , i would not advise it :D

true  buy a tin of zx1, i have one awaiting for after my first service, ferret uses it and a few other muppets, yet some might not :D
£8 delivered, stick 8ml in the gearbox and the rest 92ml in the engine oil, works wonders smooth and quite engine :D only uses the oil as a medium to coat the metal surfaces, it dont mix with the oil .. will stay coated for 25,000 miles at least

In 1987, I bought my first brand new vehicle - a Bedford Rascal van to use for my mobile car repair business. I planned on keeping it for a long time so the first thing I did when buying it was to put Slick 50 in the gearbox and rear axle - it was a relatively new product on the market around that time. Co-incidence or not, I had to have all the gearbox bearings replaced under warranty before it had done 200 miles. I didn't tell the main dealer of course! I drained the axle, put fresh oil back in it and have never used Slick 50 since.

The zx1 products and the active8 products can be safely used in your scoot unlike slick 50, however we used to use slick 50 on bearing surfaces etc many many moons ago when rebuilding race engines . I would however make sure the motor that you wish to add theses types of additives too has done a few miles and is bedded in well before using . I only use the zx1 but in everything now great product .
