Say what you mean, don't hold back!! icon_laughing.gif . But I must agree with you, why are people hell bent on decrying you for riding a scoot. " Didn't you want a real bike?" I've had a couple but prefer scooters, my choice, so why does it upset so many people. Also hate people that say If I had a bike it would be a Gixxer! Twat's don't even have a bike licence!! Oop's sound like I'm having a wee rant too!!
enjoy eXtra to the Max

oooww shit im in trouble then i dont think im a scooterist or biker ...but at the same time the bike press are such a fickle creatures....the bmw super scoot is one minute the tits next its rubbish..the gp800 claims to have super bike handling in scootering but in mcn they say dont be fooled by the firms claims that it has super bike handling......your all ways have the so called hardenen biker twat that says have you ever ridden a real bike ...? eeeemmm . well ive ridden a bandit 1200,suzuki gs katana 1327, suzuki 250 x7,ktm 250 mxers and a arm renching RM370b and that was the only true scary bike. so fuck all the small minded rose tinted leather joy boy fag ridding super bike boys.

I respect that that is your opinion but it really doesn't help matters in this day & age. Personally maxi scooters to me are motorbikes thus the peeps who ride them are bikers. I love both & fully intend on treating myself to a nice aprillia 750 dorsuduro when funds permit I will also be looking at the new X10 500 when it comes here.

No they're not
Don't start me off about motorbikes!!
I've never ridden one, despite having a full licence for nearly 40 years.
I never criticise bikes but I will (and do) confront certain twats who ride them.
Some on here give it the "we're all bikers together"
But,, when it boils down to it. No we're not. You just have to go down Matlock Bath on a Sunday to find that out.

I remember in my youth,, I went to a local pub with my girlfriend on a Lambretta.
Inside, we sat down and a bloke at the next table said to me "What bike you got?"
I said lambretta !
He says "Oh sorry" and turns his back!
I've disliked 'bikers' ever since!

I tolerate my 'Dad' Clive though
And Craig, Alan Zoomzoom, and Colin of course!

Sgt Ernie Bilko wrote:'Maxi scooters generally aren't the coolest looking vehicles on the road -their masses of plastic making them look like bulbous alien spaceships at best.'

They really are a bunch of ignorant c.unts...
I saw that too, wasn't it in an article about a customised T-Max?

My boss who has a speed triple, on hearing how fast the Tmax and Nexus goes, first response was 'I wouldn't want to go that speed on small wheels'.

My response was 'Have you ever tried? or is that you have heard small wheels are dodgy?'

'That's what everyone says.'

'My wheels are 15inch yours are 17?'

'just because yours are bigger doesn't mean its better, it how you use it that counts'

This caused her too blush :D

But this is the typical response I have gotten from manual bikers who are willing to discuss, close minded ones are always 'Why don't you get a proper bike instead of a hair dryer'... the closed mindedness is just sad.

Let me clarify one thing, a biker is someone who embraces a certain lifestyle. The rest are motorcycle enthusiasts or riders.

I've probably ridden most types of PTW's and would put myself some between a biker and an enthusiast.

Don't give a toss what people ride and neither do most bikers, it's the hump backed power rangers and weekend warriors who think they are bikers that usually give scooter riders a hard time.
