I installed the topcase mounting plate onto the luggage rack. Finally can carry a topcase, woo-hoo!
Yesterday got the oil change light flashing, indicating electrical fault with speedo, but no flashing today.
What have you done to your Scooter today?

Re: What have you done to your Scooter today?
Removed and cleaned the air filter ( which was filthy ! ) removed and cleaned the jets, altered the idle speed and fitted a new Ngk plug to my LML.
Also checked and adjusted the tyre pressures ( which were way too low )
Just been out for a test run and Wow what a difference
The scoot now accelerates much faster and the handling is transformed just for an hours work, £5 for a plug and £1 for a can of carb cleaner from the pound shop
Changed the gear oil myself last week which cost about £3.
These trad style scoots are so cheap to keep on the road as long as you dont mind getting your hands dirty & accept they are not in the same league dynamically as a more modern auto.

ive given it some shit through 2 foot of water over jumps towed two broken quads at the same time at 50mph
had it side ways through another foot of water
towed a transit van up a hill
and then got fed and watered (for free)
(oh i get paied really well for this) and then found the two quads owners gave me an extra tenner for a pint
