RAM mount on the left hand reservoir cover.http://www.ram-mount.co.uk/reservoir-co ... 8_286.html
Cheap and easy.

Iv'e got to say, just got the RAM mount for my 650 / Garming Nuvi Absolutely brilliant bit of Kit. Not cheap but very good.
I found RAM very helpfull for information and delivery was bang on time. When I upgrade the SatNav it will be with another RAM holder.

Reservoir mount for me also with the power supply coming from the front sidelight up underneath the handlebar covers. Works a treat with no issues in the 18 months it's been in place.

Re: TomTom rider mount
Found a cheaper alternative to RAM mounts
"Ultimate Addons" do a range of mounts and enclosures that use 1" ball (same as RAM so it is interchangeable). They do various mounts and enclosures - universal or specific (Tom Tom, iphone, cup holder etc). Good quality, clamps are metal. Plus hardwire kits and waterproofing
Different to RAM in that the holders share a quick release bracket and the receiver plate of this mounts directly onto the ball rather than using double ended arms.
http://www.ultimate-mobiles.co.uk and/or through Amazon
I'm trying the mirror clamp and waterproof iphone enclosure at the moment
