I did a chain conversion on it when the belt snapped....lots cheaper...and alot more messing about with adjustment too.
But shortly after it destroyed its second set of cams!.
So a nice man gave me £150 and he took it for a ride in the back of his lorry....never to be seen again.
From what I remember..a comment in a mag I read once. If you want to learn mechanics get a GPZ305.... I don't how true that was because I never owned one, but........
Cams & followers where dead easy to fit.
Think Honda made them....................out of cheese!
Never had any other problems with it...........apart from corrosion.
