Weather protection?
I had all the protection I needed from my one piece Rukka suit, Sidi double skin boots and Reusch Goretex gloves.

Shame you can't still get those Rukka suits or Reusch gloves, they were brilliant.

Rukka suit and a BMW R100RS fairing with heated grips- scrummy warm, dry and fast across countries, still one of the greatest fairing ever made.
Only matched by the Burger 400, with heated vest, personal stereo and the ability to lean back in feet-forward stylee (or sidesaddle, with none of those pesky gear-y thingies and footbrake malarkey to worry about...)

No door is closed to an open mind.
Except a closed door, which a mind can't open, but even a stupid hand can.

Re: Yamaha 750cc Triple
Mate had a red maggot, CX with a giant white Rickman-esq fairing, and giant white Rickman-esq top box...
I used to call it the 'Honda-Do-Little'... looked like a 'push me-pull you'
Another mate at teh time had a Suzi GT380... with Kawasaki GPz500 running gear - he loved his tripples!
