Unfortunately different light conditions but gives you the general results and now makes it tidy. You can not see it but there are two small paint reaction crazed areas on the right and are going to be redone next week hopefully.
Cheers Steve, the wheel cleaning took some effort and only Wonder Wheels would remove all the grime. Exhaust was blowing so removed and added some paste. Oil and Filter with Iridium spark plug are next then the transmission area check and overhaul although it rides okay as I think the belt may be due a change as it was confirmed by SWSB that it was changed by them at the 15k service. I hope the clutch is okay but at 30k will probably be on its last legs.
Very nice indeed bornagain. This is all your own work then yes? It look very professional. I'm rubbish at bodywork and spraying but good at the dirty bits! Sometimes wish it was the other way round.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!
Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...
Sorry guys, I could take the credit, way out of my league, a professional 'classic scooter' restorer at Wizard Paintshop, Bedlington, Northumberland did all the bodywork for £215. He is picking it up tomorrow morning to redo the right hand side main fairing as two small areas have crazed, which unfortunately can easily happen with plastics.
