new battery

Post by StevenM »

Would anyone recommend a new battery for my nexus. I think has been the culprit of my 'BROKEN NEXUS'.

Could do with one for the weekend so would need to order today.

Many thanks guys

you need a YB14L-A2 or CB14L-A2 battery

Halfords do the Bosch M4 F34 AGM (YB14L-A2) Motorcycle Battery at £44.99 good price and in stock Rotherham store order on line to pick up and pay in store.
its a Dry pre-charged, you add electrolyte, leave to stand for a 3 hrs, then charge it for 4 hours, fit and get started then give it a week and i put mine on charge, again for a top up

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_246903" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

I have bought the battery, filled it with acid, just leaving it till bed time before I put on charge. My charger is only a 0.6amp charger so will 24 hours to charge. Then a good ride out monday or tuesday.

spot on for sorting out, best to be methodical, the belt will be good for a while, but will need a new one as soon as though, then keep it as a spare..all the best mate..

you dont need luck, i tend to put washers with the nut in the order they came off, and place everything out on floor next to me, think its me age being 53 now , its not that i forget, its just easier, so i dont.... get my new belt in a few days so i will be joining you with the dismantling, weather permitting, cant wait fro the better weather, so i dont have to dress up like an astronaut and waddle up to me scoot and try get me leg over..... Ha Ha
