Doesn't apply to all CVTs Alp. There are Burgers with 60,000 miles and more on their original belt.

If your asking about your Burger stick with what Dave Weller and the others are stearing you towards about year models and stopper bolts.
WE ARE THE BURG resistance is futile

If it's the 650Burger you are on about, Yes, they are warrantied for the life of the bike if serviced by Dealer.
Where did you get that information from?

I had no:14 of the first 20 650's sold in the uk, i could not see in the hand book any info about belt changes ( miles or time )
i asked the dealer who did not have any info either. I then went to Suzuki UK, they too had no info, so i wrote to Suzuki Japan
i got a reply via suz UK to my dealer the above info. Remember the 650 does not have a run of the mill Belt.

You don't change the belt on a 650, the CVT is a dry sealed unit. The belt is of steel construction. There have been a few failures, some caused by the stopper bolt and others by the sealed bearings in the CVT drying out and breaking up. A complete revision was done for the L1 models, time will tell if it works, if it does then, L1 onwards will be good buys.
Most B650's will run without trouble and dealers don't seem to worry about these issues.
The motorcycle clutch can slip with high mileage town use, the clutch is fixable.
