I have just been on the Suzki site and checked my 2012 bike for any recalls.
Appartently there is outstanding recalls on my Burgman.
Does anybody know what these might be?
My Burg was first registered in May 2012.
Cheers
Barry.

Re: Recall on AN400 ZA L2?
I have the 2012 400z abs L2 and it also had a recall. I picked mine up March 1st in '12' and it was confirmed by Suzi GB the work had already been carried out at their headquarter before delivery to the dealer and therefore me. The problem was the 'Rectifier' and not the brake light switch. I believe it was only some USA models with the brake light switch problems.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

ba, if you are in any doubt give Suzuki GB a ring, customer services and get them to check. They can tell you fairly instantly whether it's had any recalls carried out. Your reg should be enough but have the VIN number ready just in case.

Re: Recall on AN400 ZA L2?
This is the first I'd heard of the recall. I went to the Suzuki site, which failed to recognise either my registration number or the VIN number, so gave up & went to the VOSA site. Strangely for VOSA, it was quite helpful, & indeed my bike is within the VIN numbers quoted as being recalled for the brake light switches.
Many thanks Data for the heads up, now to call Suzuki to find out if mine has already had the mods.

Yes, it didn't recognise my reg or vin either. It's not working properly I suspect. You have also confirmed that some Uk bikes have the brake light switch recall. That interesting.

not bad for Suzuki lol it only took them 6 years ... both the switches failed on my k7 when I bought it new years ago in fact the rear went on to fail again after it had been changed under warranty

Re: Recall on AN400 ZA L2?
I have just been in touch with Suzuki and my bike is down for the re-call and it has not been done.
Contacted my local dealer , no probs now booked in for work to be done ( change the brake light switches ).
So far all good.
