Diagnostic

Post by Den1974 »

Hi all,im wondering if it's possible to access the self diagnosis funtion on my Burhman K7 125cc,this is the terminal (see pic)where Suzuki main dealer would connect a toggle switch which would start the fuel injector light to flash in a sequance which will indicate if any of the 6 sensors have a fault. Now since it's just a toggle switch 2 of the 4 wires will get a connection and will start the sequance via the FI light(in theroy),anyone know how to do this.
All info has been obtained through an official suzuki work shop manual for my scooter which I have.

Check on Burgman USA (BUSA) forum, if no one here can assist.

On the 650 you short two of the pins with some wire to access LCD dealer diag readout, sure the 125 will be similar.

Welcome to Maxi-Muppets Mr Masson :D

I am sure a fellow Burgman rider will be able to help you out if Poldark hasn't already given you the solution ;)

Here's the relevant BUSA post about activating & reading diagnostic codes for the 400, no idea if they'd be common for the 125.
