It's problem is when riding at 60mph and above,FI warning light comes on and scooter losses drive(feels like engine has stopped running),as soon as engine starts running FI light goes off. This will last 0.5 – 2 seconds at a time and can happen 2-5 times in a row.
Problem gets worse and seems to happen a lot more often when fuel tank gets under half full.
No other problems are happening whilst this is going on,i.e. all gauges are working as well all lights and indicators work.

So going to check the terminal connections 1st for the crankshaft sensor as it's already been suggested from a member on here I do that.
Any idea why it's reported a fault for the "ingnition switch signal circut malfuntion"?.
At least I have a starting point now and know what's not faulty with it.
Any tips or advice you may have on this is most welcome  ,LOL.

It may well be the crank sensor causing the issue. Often it can just be some dirt with metal filings of some sort in it narrowing the gap. Or just a bad cable connector. Take a look and clean the sensor, if you haven't already done that.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

How about checking if there's a breather pipe for the tank that is kinked or blocked. icon_wink-.gif Wales.gif

Vespa GTS300 Super for practical runabout, Triumph Tiger Explorer for conquering the planet. Car almost obsolete.

Wonder if its a fuel filter, pump, or pressure problem.
